          The Competent Authority re-constituted the Anti Ragging Committee as per the norms of NMC/RGUHS.  The members of the committee are as under:

ANTI-RAGGING WEEK 2023 (AUGUST 12- AUGUST 18) REPORT

Anti-Ragging Week is an annual initiative focused on eradicating ragging, a demeaning form of harassment prevalent in educational institutions. The week's goal is to enhance awareness about the harmful effects of ragging and promote a respectful and inclusive campus environment. Through awareness campaigns, students were educated about the psychological and legal consequences of ragging. Interactive sessions between seniors and juniors foster healthy relationships, while counselling services aid victims. Anti-Ragging Week cultivates a positive shift in attitudes, fostering safe and empowering educational spaces. As per the instructions of UGC Circular dated July 5 th 2023, Anti ragging day followed by Anti-ragging week was observed at ESIC MC &PGIMSR, Bangalore from 12th August to 18th August 2023. Here are the list of events that were conducted in the institution to raise awareness about anti ragging:

  1. AUGUST 12- DEBATE COMPETITION
  2. AUGUST 14- SKIT BY STUDENTS A short play was done by the students showing the effects of ragging mainly on students in higher educational institutions.
  3. AUGUST 15 – ORATION ON ANTI-RAGGING: Speech given on anti-ragging at the college on the occasion of Independence Day. The speakers had addressed the students and non teaching staff of the college regarding the issue of ragging
  4. AUGUST 16- ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION
  5. Poster made by students on the issue of ragging to create awareness among other students
  6. Students were made aware of the issues and consequences of ragging. A short movie making competition was held on 18.8.2023  and active participation was seen from the students.

  • 2. In section "Grievance Detail" select "Others/Not Listed/Not Known"
  • 3. In the "Ministry/Department" Drop Down Select ESIC
  • 4. In "Subordinate Department/Office" select the Regional Office
  • 5. Provide details of the complaint
