HOSPITAL SERVICES

The hospital provides patient care services in all speciality departments through OPD and In-door services and 24 hour Emergency Services.

OPD SERVICES

The registration timing for OPD services is till 9.00 am to 4.00 pm. The doctors are available in OPD till they attend to all these patients. This  ensures that patients don’t need to avail off from their work, rather attend OPD as per their convenience.

EMERGENCY SERVICES

Emergency services are available (24 x 7). The doctors of dept. of Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics and Anaesthesia are available round the clock in the hospital premises for managing any emergency cases presenting in the casualty. Other department doctors are on call as and when required after 4.00 pm.

Facilities like ECG, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, X-rays, Plaster room, Emergency Laboratory services, Labour room, Emergency Operation Theatres, Blood Bank Services, CSSD, Dietary, Ambulance Services are available round the clock.

SUPER-SPECIALITY SERVICES

Super-speciality services are provided to patients in-house along with tie-up hospitals.

1. UROLOGY- The department is functioning as Regular department with Regular Urologist and his team, performing all high end surgeries.

We have all equipment for Urology dept. like PCNL set, Ureteroscope, Resectoscope, Lithoclast, Urodynamics, Argon Electrocautery, C-Arm system.

We have recently procured Holmium Endo-Laser, Flexible Uretero-Renoscope and Nephroscope for management of Renal and Ureteric stones by Retrograde Intra-renal surgery (RIRS).

2. PLASTIC SURGERY- Functions as a regular department with regular Super-specialist and his team. A spectrum of work is being done from acute burns, post-burn sequelae, congenital anomalies like cleft lip and cleft palate, hand anomalies, post-cancer reconstruction etc.
3. ONCOLOGY Day Care centre is being run by a Full-time Oncologist along with two medical officers, providing all chemotherapy in house for malignancy cases.
4. ENDOCRINOLOGY department is managed by Full-time Super-specialist.
5. GASTROENTEROLOGIST performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies in house.
6. CARDIOLOGY and CARDIOTHORACIC SURGERY - In-house Cardiology department functions under a regular Super Specialist – OPD services, Opinion for in-house patients, ECHO, TMT and holter monitoring services provided. A Cardiology Unit has been set up on a PPP mode with Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, an Autonomous unit under the Govt. Of Karnataka. There are two Operation theatres and a Cath Lab for all Angiographies, Angioplasties and cardiac Surgeries.  
7. DIALYSIS unit has been established on a PPP module with 25 machines.  Dialysis is provided in three shifts during the day.  Presently 140 patients are getting dialysis at this centre.

AYUSH SERVICES

1. AYURVEDA- Regular Ayurveda department with two medical officers are providing treatment to around 50 OPD patients daily along with drug distribution.

Panchkarma treatment is being provided for various ailments. HOMEOPATHY – Around 30 patients are receiving treatment in Homeopathy OPD. All drugs are being dispensed by the department.

Interactions are being done with other departments to introduce AYUSH method of treatment along with or as replacement of Allopathic treatment.

IN-DOOR SERVICES

The hospital was a sanctioned strength of 500 beds for in-door patients and at present has sanctioned strength of 750 beds

Along with General speciality beds, other indoor services are provided through:

2. Day –Care centre for Chemotherapy under Oncology dept.

5. PICU – 6 beds

SURGERY

Advanced surgeries like Onco-surgeries, Laproscopic surgeries, Haemorrhoidal Stapler surgery, Percutaneous Nephro-Lithotomy, Trans-Uretheral Ressection of Bladder, Adrenalectomy, Buccal Mucosal Urethroplasty, Video-assisted Anal Fistula Treatment, repair of Hernias with Mesh, etc are being regularly done in the hospital.

Orthopaedics dept. Performs all knee and hip replacement surgeries, Arthroscopies etc.

Ophthalmology dept. Performs all Cataract surgeries with state of art Phacoemulsification techniques. Many Anterior segment surgeries and basic retinal management too is being provided.

Endo-trainers have been installed for hands-on training of Post graduate students using simulation technique.

RADIOLOGY

All radiological investigations and procedures including CT and MRI centre are being managed by our regular staff of radiology department.

LABORATORY SERVICES

All regular lab tests along with speciality tests are being performed in the hospital by the Pathology, Microbiology and Biochemistry departments with the State of Art Equipment and Fully Automatic Biochemistry Analysers, Electrolyte Analysers, Hormone Analysers etc.

BLOOD BANK

24 x 7 blood bank services are available. Our hospital was the first amongst the ESIC hospitals to get license and start component separation.

PHYSIOTHERAPY & OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY UNIT

 There is a fully equipped Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Unit. A Physiotherapy College is affiliated with our centre for providing Practical Training to their students.

DIETARY SERVICES

Patients are provided all meals, professionally managed by our Dietician and their team of cooks. Meals are made as per diet regulations and local taste and staple diets. Special meals are also prepared for specific therapeutic diet as prescribed by the treating doctors.  The kitchen is equipped with latest Steam Cooking ranges, Bulk Idly maker, Rice cookers and Bulk Pressure Cookers.

Hospital Infection Control Committee, Bio Medical Waste Committee, Hospital Development Committee, Staff Grievances Redressal Committee, Internal Complaints Committee, Death Review Committee.  Antibiotic Stewardship Committee, Pharmaco – Vigilance Committee.

Bio Medical Waste Training, Basic Life Support Training (BLS), CMEs, Dhanwantri, COVID 19 – Treatment Guidelines, Donning & Doffing and Waste Disposal

PREVENTIVE HEALTH

Medical care facilities are extended beyond the confines of the hospital and Regular Health Check-up camps, Blood Donation camps, Jan Suraksha Van, Health Education camps and Occupational Health Camps are being conducted in the industrial premises.

The hospital is actively involved in the National Health Programmes like National AIDS Programme, National Immunisation Programme, Revised National TB Control Programme, Integrated Disease Surveillance Project (IDSP) , National Family Welfare Programme etc.
